Decadent Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Malt Mousse

One box World Classics Trading Company Decadent Chocolate Cake, prepared according to instructions
10 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
3 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
1/3 cup malted milk powder

Place chocolate in a medium bowl; set aside.

In a small saucepan, whisk together 1 cup whipping cream and malted milk powder. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour over chocolate and allow to stand 5 minutes. Whisk until chocolate is melted and smooth; cool.

Pour remaining cream into a separate bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip on high until soft peaks form. On low, whip in 1/3 of the chocolate mixture. Using a rubber spatula, fold in remaining chocolate mixture until all streaks disappear. Chill until ready to serve or spread between cake layers.
